2011 Bowl-a-thon
“Helping Keep Kids off Drugs!”

Sponsored by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans

CASAC Board, Staff and friends made some strikes and raised needed funds at the 2011 “Helping Keep Kids of Drugs” Bowlathon held June3 at the Fountain Bowl. Funds raised will be used to further CASAC’s mission and support intervention services addressing youth and their families living in our community.

A special “President’s Challenge” was offered by CASAC Board President Arnold Zdrojewski. He offered a $20 donation for every strike or a split in the 3rd or 7th frame. The 3 and 7 were significant because CASAC is in its 37th year. By the time the evening was done, there were 12 strikes in either the 3rd or 7th frame. CASAC staff making those strikes were Melanie Witkowski, Sue Updyke, Julie Franco, Jeff Thomas, Afroula Snell, and Tony Bellanca. Even though the other staff did not meet that challenge, everyone tried and bowled their best despite a few gutter balls!

Besides thanks to all the CASAC friends who made pledges and donations to the bowlathon, CASAC would also like to acknowledge the support of the following for their $100-plus donation: Hubert Funeral Home, G&P Gynecare, Mary Carney, Tony Raffa, Falconer Printing & Design, Mr.& Mrs. Berkeley Adams, Support Enterprises, Eagle Systems, Mr. & Mrs. Jeff Grodeski, Mr. Rodney Early, Suzy Joyce, Mr. & Mrs. Arnold Zdrojewski, and Jamestown Mattress. Also, special thanks to Thrivent Financial for Lutherans for their generous support.

Thanks to all for a fun and productive event!
